We are delighted to announce the grand inauguration of the *new state-of-the-art swimming pool* at *The Chintels School,Kalyanpur,Kanpur*, graced by the honorable *Member of Parliament*, *Shri. Ramesh Awasthi ji*. The event took place on *20th July, 2024*, marking a significant milestone in our institution's commitment to providing top-notch facilities for our students. The inauguration ceremony commenced with a ribbon-cutting by Shri Ramesh Awasthi ji, symbolizing the official opening of the swimming pool. This new facility is expected to enhance the physical education program and encourage students to develop their swimming skills. In addition to the inauguration, the event also included a *felicitation ceremony* where the toppers of the academic session 2023-24 were honored. Shri Ramesh Awasthi ji presented trophies to the outstanding students, recognizing their hard work and dedication throughout the academic year. This moment of acknowledgment not only celebrated the students' achievements but also motivated their peers to strive for excellence. The ceremony was further enlivened by captivating performances by our talented students. These performances showcased the diverse abilities and creativity of our students, adding a festive spirit to the occasion. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Ramesh Awasthi ji for his valuable presence and for inspiring our students with his words of encouragement. Rabjot Kaur of grade VII, bagged the First Runners Up Trophy ,speaking in favour of the motion and Adriti Banerjee, of grade VI, clinched the Second Runners Up Trophy.

“Rhetoric is the art of ruling the minds of men”. Words are indeed the most powerful to create a stir.When these words are carved carefully,the significance is highlighted. Champion debaters of The Chintels School,Kalyanpur, brought home laurels when their eloquent peroration left the judges bereft. Rabjot Kaur ,a student of grade VII, bagged the First Runners Up Trophy ,speaking in favour of the motion and Adriti Banerjee, a student of grade VI, clinched the Second Runners Up Trophy, refuting the motion, on the topic ‘Lavish Food is an expression of luxury or waste’ at the KSS English Debate Competition held on 20th July. The talented duo stood out to be tough contenders and were hence declared the best debating team and The Chintels School, Kalyanpur, was the only one to win in both categories. Kudos to the winners.

Armaan Gupta of Grade VII scored First Position in KSS INTER SCHOOL STORY WRITING COMPETITION

Story writing is the ancient art form that has been entertaining, educating and reforming people for centuries and the trend can never be out of place as it stimulates their imagination and allows them to put themselves in the character's shoes. A good story writer beautifully articulates the plethora of twists and turns ,the saga of accent and descent, the songs of innocence ,valour and compassion thereby, inspiring millions around. Armaan Gupta, the budding wordsmith of Grade VII brilliantly knitted all the elements of the genre with one another to weave it into an inspiring moralistic story on Empathy- the biggest virtue of humanity and proved his mettle by winning First position in the KSS Story Writing Competition. Character Parade - World Book Day

On the vibrant occasion of World Book Day Chintelians embraced the magic of literature through its lively Character Parade 2024. The corridors echoed with excitement as students, adorned as beloved literary characters, brought their favorite books to life. From classic tales to contemporary adventures, the parade showcased a diverse array of characters, illustrating the timeless appeal of literature across generations. From the whimsical antics of Alice from "Alice in Wonderland" to the heroic spirit of Harry Potter, each costume reflected the creativity and passion for storytelling within the school community. The event not only celebrated the joy of reading but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and shared imagination among students, teachers, and staff. It provided a platform for students to express their love for literature while igniting conversations about their favorite books and authors Through the Character Parade 2024, our School reaffirmed its commitment to promoting literacy and cultivating a lifelong love for reading among its students. It was a day filled with laughter, creativity, and a shared appreciation for the transformative power of stories.

*"A little progress each day, adds up to big results".* In order to develop the attributes of leadership, collaboration, critical thinking & communication, THE CHINTELS SCHOOL decided to host a *creative & exhilarating practice i.e SHOWCASE where the students of Prep lead the parents conference.* They reflected on the topics they have learnt through playful methods and proved that learning can be fun too. It was an amazing experience to see our little ones soaring to great heights.
